This page explains exactly how CrispByte Kitchen creates its content, so you can judge for yourself how much to trust it — and hold us to it.
How we research
Every recipe and guide starts with research. We check cooking temperatures, times and techniques against air fryer manufacturer guidance, food safety authorities such as the USDA (including its published safe minimum internal temperatures), and reputable, established recipe sources. Where sources disagree, we say so and explain the range rather than presenting one number as certain.
How we write
Our recipes are carefully researched and written for complete beginners: exact temperatures and times, the reasoning behind each step, what the food should look like at each stage, and fixes for common mistakes. We do not copy recipes or text from other websites.
How we use AI — openly
We use AI tools to help draft content and to create the illustrations on this site, and every article and image is reviewed and edited by a human editor before publication. Our images are illustrations created to show steps and finished dishes clearly — they are not photographs of a specific dish we cooked, and we never present them as such. We do not claim hands-on testing we have not done; our recipes are described honestly as carefully researched, clearly illustrated guides.
Food safety
Safe internal temperatures in our recipes follow published USDA guidance. Air fryer models vary, so we always encourage readers to use a food thermometer for meat, poultry and seafood and to follow their appliance manual.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it. When a reader reports an error and we verify it, we update the article and, for significant corrections, note the change on the page. To report an error, email [email protected] or use our Contact page.
Independence
Editorial decisions are ours alone. If we ever use affiliate links or sponsorships, they will be disclosed clearly (see our Affiliate Disclosure) and will never change the temperatures, times or advice in a recipe.
