About

Welcome to CrispByte Kitchen

CrispByte Kitchen is a recipe website built for one reader: the person who just brought home their first air fryer and is not quite sure what to do with it.

Maybe yours is still in the box. Maybe your first batch of fries came out soggy, or your chicken came out dry, and you are wondering what you did wrong. We have written every page on this site for exactly that moment.

What we do

We publish easy, beginner-friendly air fryer recipes and guides, written in plain language. Every recipe includes the exact temperature, the exact time, and the small details beginners actually need — how to arrange food in the basket so it crisps instead of steaming, when to shake or flip, how full is too full, and how to tell when food is safely done.

Alongside the recipes, we publish honest troubleshooting: why fries go soggy, why coatings fall off, why food cooks unevenly — and how to fix each one next time.

Who we help

Our readers are first-time air fryer owners in the United States, the UK, Canada, Australia and Europe. Recipes use Fahrenheit and cups/ounces first, with Celsius and grams included in the recipe card, because air fryers — and kitchens — are not all the same.

How our content is created

Every CrispByte Kitchen recipe and guide is carefully researched and clearly illustrated. We research cooking times and temperatures against air fryer manufacturer guidance and food safety sources such as the USDA, and we write each recipe to be followed step by step by a complete beginner.

Our images are illustrations created to show you clearly what each step and finished dish should look like. You can read exactly how we research, check and correct our content in our Editorial Policy.

Our promise

No hype, and no twenty-ingredient “simple” recipes. If a recipe is on CrispByte Kitchen, a beginner can follow it the first time — and if anything is ever unclear, we want to hear about it.
